LET'S FIND OUT
One curious comparison.
Question 1 of 5
Which one is bigger?
Compare the same measurement.
The real scale
True linear proportions. The longer bar represents the greater measured length, not weight, area or volume. Narrow bars are not enlarged. The exact measurements are written above.
Where did these numbers come from?
Reported maxima, averages and standard dimensions are identified separately. These are educational comparisons, not measurements of every individual specimen.

HOW THIS LITTLE GAME WORKS
First a guess.
Then the real proportions.
We show both objects the same size before you choose, because seeing the real difference is half the fun. Afterwards, each bar uses the same scale and cites the published measurement.
Same unit. Same type of measurement. No tricks with different scales.
GOOD QUESTIONS NEED GOOD ANSWERS
Curiosity with receipts.
Each question includes links to the exact sources used for both items. Our selection uses NOAA Fisheries and San Diego Zoo for animals, the National Park Service and scientific agencies for landmark heights and summit elevations, NASA for planetary diameters, and published paper and sports standards for everyday items.
Reference snapshots assembled October 2026. Where a sport specifies a circumference range, we use the midpoint and divide by π to estimate a reference diameter. Paper comparisons use the longer sheet edge. These are explicit reference values, not claims about every object of that type.
